C.O.P. Olympic Training Center

The C.O.P project is located in the southern area of the city of Astana.
The complex, is now under costruction, covers area of 18.3 hectares and comprises a variety of buildings, among which the most important are the following: multipurpose sports centre, athletics arena with indoor swimming pool, university of sports, openair stadium, college, accommodation for students and professors and medical rehabilitation centre.
The heart of this project is the creation of an international centre for physical culture and pedagogical education as well as sports management, supporting the country’s tradition and sports values; all this will be achieved providing a high-level education drawing from the latest research and technologies. The C.O.P. project will harvest and strengthen within its walls the future athletes of national teams and Olympic Games, being at the same time the stage for sports gatherings and world-class competitions.
